Gotta love the Bay area for having surplus amounts of luxury cars!
I was just looking for rims on craigslist, when this came up. The car doesn’t run and it was built in the same year I was born...but if you need a lemons car this is a great platform!

realistically an engine swap would make a mercedes like this more reliable.

Haha how awesome would a big ass turbo 4/6 banger be in this lol
(I’m thinking a civic engine block or something but then maybe you wouldn’t be able to keep RWD?)

I STOLE THIS CAR LAST WEEK!
NOW THE FEDS ARE ON MY ASS
NO IT DOESN’T RUN, BECAUSE OF COURSE IT DOESN’T
REMEMBER THAT I STOLE IT
I AM THAT CHARITY THAT I LISTED IN THE DESCRIPTION, YEAH THAT’S ME. I’M A CHARITY. I JUST CALL IT THAT FOR NO REASON.

“See this nice driving Mercedes...”
What’d they do to determine that, push it down a big hill?

Yeah... No thanks

The ad says it’s an S320, and yet the car in the pictures has a 400SE badge. Something doesn’t smell right here.

As a proponent of used S classes, run far far away.

Looks nice. For $500, I’d risk it.

I’m normally the last person to suggest even thinking about a 140, but that is a hell of a deal. You know, assuming the ad is legit.
Selling the wheels alone will get your money back, and then some if you’re patient.
If that really is an S320 it will have the M104 engine (I6 DOHC), which is an awesome engine. Biggest downfall by far, head gaskets. Any experienced Benz tech could slap that thing back together in a few hours assuming all the parts are there.
